About the Deanship of Development and Quality
The Deanship of Development and Quality (DDQ) at Northern Border University traces its origins to the University Council's decision on 18/06/1432 AH establishing the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation, followed by the establishment of the Deanship of University Education Development by royal approval on 19/03/1433 AH. Pursuant to the decision of the Council of University Affairs dated 14/02/1445 AH, the two deanships were merged under the current name "Deanship of Development and Quality", with the aim of fulfilling national and international academic accreditation requirements and enhancing institutional performance through targeted development of the skills of university staff.
The Deanship of Development and Quality is organizationally affiliated with the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs (in accordance with the latest organizational restructuring in 1445 AH), having previously been affiliated with the Vice Presidency for Development, Quality and Community Partnership.
