The overall objective: to support the dean in implementing quality assurance and academic accreditation activities across all relevant areas.
The tasks of the vice deanship include:
- Preparing activity plans for the agency and ensuring their implementation after approval.
- Assisting the Dean in overseeing and coordinating the administrative and technical functions of the organizational units associated with the pillar to ensure the complementarity of their activities and maximize available resources.
- Participating in proposing plans and projects to meet quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, as well as contributing to revising regulations and procedures and working towards their implementation.
- Collaborating in designing, developing, and reviewing quality assurance programs, aiming for continuous improvement in all university activities.
- Contributing to establishing and enhancing systems for measuring and assessing the quality of services provided by the university and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of performance.
- Representing the university in engagements with local and international academic accreditation bodies.
- Participating in proposing plans and programs for nominating university employees for excellence awards and monitoring their implementation.
- Engaging in the development of faculty members' knowledge and skills, as well as improving their professional capabilities.
- Assisting in developing students' professional knowledge and skills to enhance their readiness for vocational degrees.
- Collaboration in proposing, organizing, and conducting specialized meetings, seminars, and conferences focused on quality assurance and the advancement of university education.
- Participating in the planning, coordination, and execution of tasks necessary to meet quality-related requirements for all university activities.
- Actively promote awareness of quality concepts and performance through specialized meetings, seminars, symposiums, and workshops.
- Contributing to the identification, ongoing review, and enhancement of performance indicators for all activities related to the pillar.
- Assisting in identifying the agency's human resources, equipment, and material needs and ensuring availability.
- Participating in identifying the training needs of agency staff and nominating them for relevant training programs.
- Providing periodic reports on the vice deanship’s activities, achievements, and proposals for performance development.
- Undertaking any additional tasks assigned within the specified jurisdiction.
