General objective: To obtain academic and institutional accreditation of the University and to meet the National Center for Evaluation and Academic Accreditation requirements, thereby strengthening the confidence of the local and international community in the outcomes of the University.
Tasks:
- Implement the plans and programs designed to achieve academic accreditation at the university.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, rules, and instructions relevant to national institutional accreditation.
- Conduct field visits to scientific faculties and departments to conduct audits and assessments in relation to national institutional accreditation.
- Collaborate with the Department of Educational empowerment to offer relevant courses for national institutional accreditation.
- Provide guidance and support to the university's organizational units regarding all matters concerning national institutional accreditation.
- Supervise and manage the national institutional accreditation program at the university.
- Maintain communication with the national center for evaluation and academic accreditation regarding all matters related to national institutional accreditation.
- Prepare and submit applications for national institutional accreditation and monitor the fulfillment of accreditation requirements as stipulated by the national center for evaluation and academic accreditation.
- Identify the necessary requirements for national institutional accreditation and develop a comprehensive program and action plan to obtain it.
- Present recommendations on the university's strategies and priorities for national institutional accreditation.
- Facilitate coordination between different organizational units of the university and the national center for evaluation and academic accreditation to meet institutional accreditation requirements.
- Propose an action plan to fulfil the requirements of the national center for evaluation and academic accreditation, in addition to the responsible bodies overseeing its implementation.
- Ensure the proper execution of the action plan for the national institutional accreditation program.
- Oversee the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of the national institutional accreditation auditor's visit program.
- Recommend training programs for university leaders pertaining to national institutional accreditation.
- Participate in assessing and identifying the human resources, equipment, and material needs necessary for national institutional accreditation and monitor their availability.
- Participate in identifying training needs of unit staff and suggest appropriate training programs to enhance their skills in relation to national institutional accreditation.
