Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, who says in the Holy Quran: "And say, Do as you will, for Allah will see your deeds, and so will His Messenger and the believers." Quran. Peace and blessings be upon the unlettered and trustworthy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Verily, Allah loves that when anyone of you does a job he should perfect it." May the finest peace and blessings be upon him.

The Vice Deanship for Quality Assurance at the Deanship of Development and Quality represents a fundamental pillar in achieving the University's strategic objectives in the areas of program accreditation and institutional accreditation. It plays a pivotal role in supporting academic programs and enabling them to fulfill accreditation requirements in accordance with national and international standards. It also coordinates institutional efforts to maintain the continuity of institutional accreditation.

The Vice Deanship contributes to monitoring the implementation of academic accreditation requirements at both the institutional and program levels by providing technical and consultative support to colleges, academic programs, and all University sectors. This ensures the consistency of quality systems at all levels, compliance with quality standards, achievement of accreditation objectives, and sustainability of excellence in performance. The Vice Deanship also monitors the preparation and qualification of academic programs to obtain program accreditation at both the national and international levels, thereby enhancing the quality of their educational outcomes and strengthening their competitiveness.

The Vice Deanship also follows the latest developments, policies, and systems issued by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and its affiliated centers, and works to ensure their continued alignment with all relevant practices. This contributes to maintaining the continuity of institutional and program accreditation and enhancing the efficiency of overall performance.

We ask Allah to grant us success in supporting the University's journey toward achieving academic and institutional excellence and in strengthening its position within the higher education system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

General Objective 

Assisting the Dean in the implementation of quality assurance and academic accreditation activities at the university across all relevant fields.

Tasks

• Preparing the activity plans of the Vice Deanship for Quality and following up on their implementation after approval.
• Assisting the Dean in the administrative and technical supervision of organizational units affiliated with the Deanship, and coordinating among them to ensure integration of activities and the optimal utilization of available resources.
• Preparing periodic reports on the Vice Deanship's activities, achievements, and proposals for performance improvement.
• Participating in proposing plans and projects necessary to fulfill quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, reviewing the necessary regulatory and procedural bylaws, and working on their implementation.
• Participating in the design, development, and review of quality assurance and continuous improvement programs for all activities undertaken by the university.
• Participating in representing the university in communications with local and international academic accreditation bodies.
• Participating in planning, coordinating, and implementing the tasks necessary to fulfill all requirements of quality-related bodies across all university activities.
• Participating in building and developing systems to measure and determine the quality of services provided by the university, the efficiency and effectiveness of performance, and their application.
• Participating in identifying performance indicators for all Deanship-related activities, and continuously reviewing and developing them.
• Participating in proposing, organizing, and holding meetings, seminars, and conferences specialized in quality assurance and the development of university education.
• Participating in disseminating awareness of the concept of quality and its performance through holding meetings, sessions, seminars, and workshops specialized in this field.
• Participating in identifying the needs for human resources, equipment, and materials, and following up on their provision.
• Participating in identifying the training needs of the Vice Deanship's staff to nominate them for suitable training programs.
• Performing any other tasks assigned to the Vice Deanship within the scope of its specialization.
