Objectives: Applying quality assurance systems and continuous development in academic, research and administrative practices and providing community services.

 

Missions: 

  • Implementation of approved plans and programs related to quality assurance systems and continuous development.
  • Application of regulations and instructions related to quality assurance operations.
  • Spreading the culture of quality assurance among all employees of the university sectors.
  • Spreading the quality culture in cooperation with higher committees for accreditation, academic units, and supporting deanships in the university environment and the local community.
  • Conducting field visits to scientific colleges and departments through committees to review and audit related quality assurance standards.
  • Providing advice and support to the organizational units at the university in all matters relating to quality assurance and its applications.
  • Setting a general policy for quality assurance and performance evaluation in all academic and administrative units, in line with the requirements of accreditation bodies.
  • Supporting continuous improvement plans in cooperation with academic accreditation officials in all university sectors and branches to ensure quality achievement.
  • Providing support in the field of applying quality systems to academic units and supporting deanships at the university.
  • Ensuring academic units and supporting deanships use the national centre's models, evidence, and indicators for academic accreditation and evaluation in quality assurance processes.
  • Providing necessary recommendations and proposals to improve the quality of the outputs of academic units and supporting deanships.
  • Contributing to raising the efficiency of employing human and material resources in the university through continuous follow-up and evaluation processes.
  • Enhancing the university's competitiveness among university education institutions.
  • Coordinating with the vocational empowerment department to implement training programs related to quality assurance and continuous improvement within the training plan.
  • Participating in determining the needs of human resources, equipment, and materials and following up on their provision.
  • Participating in determining the training needs of the unit's employees to nominate them for appropriate training programs.
  • Preparing periodic reports on the unit's activities, achievements, and proposals for developing its performance.
  • Carrying out any other tasks assigned to the unit within its area of competence.
