General Objective

 To apply quality assurance systems and continuous improvement in academic, research, and administrative practices, as well as in the delivery of community services.

Tasks 

• Implementing approved plans and programs related to quality assurance systems and continuous improvement.
• Applying regulations and instructions related to quality assurance operations.
• Spreading a quality assurance culture among all staff across university sectors in cooperation with the Vice Deanship for Development.
• Promoting a quality culture in collaboration with the supreme accreditation committees, academic units, and supporting deanships within the university environment and in the local community.
• Conducting field visits to colleges and academic departments through committees formed for review and audit purposes related to quality assurance standards.
• Providing consultations and support to the university's organizational units on all matters related to quality assurance issues and their applications.
• Establishing the general policy for quality assurance and performance evaluation across all academic and administrative units, in alignment with accreditation body requirements.
• Supporting continuous improvement plans in collaboration with academic accreditation officers across all university sectors and branches to ensure the achievement of quality standards.
• Providing support in the application of quality systems to academic units and supporting deanships within the university.
• Ensuring that academic units and supporting deanships utilize the forms, guides, and indicators of the National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation (NCAAA) in quality assurance processes.
• Submitting recommendations and proposals necessary to enhance the quality of outputs from academic units and supporting deanships.
• Contributing to improving the efficiency of human and material resource utilization at the university through continuous monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Strengthening the university's competitive standing among higher education institutions.
• Coordinating with the Faculty Training Unit to implement training programs related to quality assurance and continuous improvement within the training plan.
• Participating in identifying needs for human resources, equipment, and materials, and following up on their provision.
• Participating in identifying the training needs of unit staff to nominate them for appropriate training programs.
• Preparing periodic reports on the unit's activities, achievements, and performance improvement proposals.
• Any other tasks assigned within the scope of specialization.
